What's On at Joondalup Festival of Motorsport
Start your engines!
Get ready for the inaugural Joondalup Festival of Motoring, this 28-30 October 2022. Joondalup City Centre will host 1,000+ vehicles across the weekend for this free, multi-day event. There is plenty of family-friendly fun and entertainment to delight everyone, including art, photography, music, movies, cuisine, competitions and local business activations.
Programme Highlights
Day One – Friday 28 October
Mega Motoring Movie Marathon: Grand Cinema Joondalup
A selection of high-octane favourites, including Days of Thunder, Ford versus Ferrari and the original Italian Job. So technically we can say that Michael Caine, Tom Cruise and Matt Damon will be appearing at the festival. More information to come. Tickets are limited and will be managed by the JFOM Office.
PowerPlay Corporate Challenge
Joondalup’s very own, PowerPlay (high energy electric Go Karts) will be hosting our first ever Corporate Challenge. More information to come, tickets will be limited and be managed by the JFOM Office.
Day Two – Saturday 29 October
Coffee & Cars: Boas Ave Car Park
Join us for Coffee & Cars in the afternoon, with approximately 500 vehicles on show.
Cocktails & Cars, Central Park: Coffee gets swapped for cocktails! There will be plenty of cuisine and beverage options, plus light entertainment, surrounding a high-end and rare vehicle display.

Cars and Cocktails: Central Park
Join us for an Alfa Spritz or a Sandman Summer, who doesn’t enjoy an afternoon tipple! From 12pm until 9pm, we will have an exclusive collection of fine, rare and interesting automobiles along with some mouthwatering food, light entertainment, great cocktails and everything else that the Joondalup City Centre has to offer. The Cocktails are themed to match our FIVE Automotive Worlds – Old Blighty, Land Down Under, Route 66, The Continent and The Orient.
Day Three – Sunday 30 October
Joondalup Sprint: Joondalup City Centre
Entries are open for the 2022 Joondalup City Sprint on Sunday 30th October. It’s the main event – a 2.4 km sprint course featuring lightning-quick straights, flowing corners and tight and technical twisty stuff through the Joondalup City Centre and education precinct. Competitors have the option of nominating a Co-Driver or going it alone. This close-to-sold-out event has a fantastic range of vehicles to watch in action.

Please be aware all competitors must hold a minimum of a MotorSport Australia Speed Licence and be a member of a MotorSport Australia Affiliated Car Club. A variety of road closures will form the 2.4km race track. On track vehicles will be an exciting blur of colour and sound as they compete to set the fastest time.

Cars & Cocktails, Central Park (Continues)
Join us again but this time in POLE POSITION to watch the Joondalup City Sprint. From 9am until 5pm, we will have an exclusive collection of fine, rare and interesting automobiles along with some delicious food, light entertainment, great cocktails and everything else that the Joondalup City Centre has to offer.
