Automotive Worlds

Joondalup Festival of Motoring would like to announce the opening of registrations for the Automotive Worlds precinct held on Sunday, October 30, and are encouraging Perth motoring enthusiasts to get their pride and joy out of the garage and put it on display. The Automotive Worlds precinct will take attendees on a journey to see the motoring marvels produced across the globe, right in the heart of Joondalup – no passport necessary. Vehicles will be categorised into five regionally themed zones that best represent the vehicle’s origin. Event attendees will be able to meander between the Old Blighty (UK), Route 66 (USA), The Orient (Asia), The Continent (Europe) and The Land Down Under (Australia), and see stunning examples of cars produced from these regions.

Event Director Justin Hunt says that support for the inaugural event from Perth’s Car Club community has been overwhelming.
“Perth’s Car Clubs have got behind the Automotive Worlds at the Joondalup Festival of Motoring, and we are already talking to many about their planned displays,” Justin said. “Given the intense interest, we expect available display slots to fill quickly.

“The Automotive Worlds will complement a dynamic three-day Joondalup Festival of Motoring programme, and we’re excited to see motoring enthusiasts of all ages interact and experience the enormous celebration of car culture that we have in store. “We thank the local businesses for embracing the event and getting involved with plenty of motoring themed specials and displays on offer. The event looks forward to showcasing the vibrancy of the area.”

With so much planned right across the Festival of Motoring weekend, why not take the opportunity to plan a mini break, come and stay like a local, and check out all that Joondalup has to offer.

JFOM and the Quest team have created some great value discounts for people staying for the Festival. We are calling it “COME and STAY and PLAY”. The special discounted rates will be announced in due course.
The event is free to attend but online pre-registration to display a vehicle in the Automotive Precincts is a must.
The Joondalup Festival of Motoring is held from 28 – 30 October and is a partnership between the City of Joondalup and Justin Hunt Management.
